Lady Wildcat Hoops Falls on Road to Jersey Shore
JERSEY SHORE- Central Mountain fell into a quick 10-0 hole at Jersey Shore on Tuesday night and trailed 15-4 after one period of play. However, an 18-8 advantage for the Lady Cats in the 2nd quarter put the halftime score at 23-22 in favor of the hosts. The teams went back and forth in the 3rd quarter with the Lady Bulldogs ending the quarter with a slim 36-33 lead over the Lady Wildcats. Unforturtuantley for CM the 4th quarter was unkind as they were outscored by Jersey Shore 23-7 to set the final at 59-42. Camdyn Weaver had a solid all-around game for CM as the sophomore had 23 points on 9 of 13 shooting, 4 rebounds and 4 assists on the night. With the loss, CM dropped to 3-5 on season and will now prepare to host league PHAC foe Midd-West on Friday night.
