LHU’s Kevin Coleman named Men’s Basketball PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN – Kevin Coleman of the Lock Haven men’s basketball team was tabbed Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday (Jan. 7).
Coleman had a monster game off the bench for Lock Haven to lead the Bald Eagles to a thrilling 69-66 victory over Kutztown in both school’s PSAC Eastern Division opener.
Coleman headlined the second unit and led all Bald Eagles with 18 points on offense, but it was his defense that powered the victory. The first-year Bald Eagle blocked a game-high three shots, while adding a steal and nine rebounds, including five on the defensive end.
Coleman ranks sixth in the PSAC in blocked shots (18), with an average of 1.5 per game.
