Thousands Gather for “A Little Magic in the Air,” a Holiday Wonderland of Lights and Cheer

FARWELL-Thousands descended to Farwell and walked the mile and a half trek along Central Avenue for “A Little Magic in the Air”, a tour de force of Christmas spirit and holiday decorations brought to life by the residents of Farwell. The one of a kind house decorations and festive lights are the perfect background for all things holidays that onlookers encounter on the walk, or the hayride style transportation also provided for free.

Treats of all kinds, including plenty of warm drinks that help to take the chill out of the air are offered along the route as people encounter old fashioned warming fires, caroling, live reindeer, costumes and of course Santa and Mrs. Clause waiting to hear the wishes of the young boys and girls that stop by to sit on Santa’s lap.

The event has become so large and successful that its slowly developed into a year long event for many residents of Farwell, who anxiously await the holiday season every winter so that they can welcome visitors from near and far.
