LHU Swimming opens 2024-25 home schedule by hosting ESU

LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven swimming team hosted Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe East Stroudsburg for its 2024-25 home opener in Zimmerli Pool on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 19).

The Bald Eagles hosted their first of three home meets in Zimmerli Pool this season and will return home on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. for a PSAC meet.

PSAC power East Stroudsburg came away with the victory, 183-58.

The quartet of Sydney Houck, Emma Pequignot, Alaina Cane and Finley Musser placed second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:02.50.

Madison Bortner secured silver in the 200-yard freestyle with a swim of 2:08.45.

Houck also added silver in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.85), while Pequignot followed suite in the 200-yard butterfly (2:23.25).

NEXT UP

The Bald Eagles hit the road and will travel to Lycoming in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for a non-conference meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
