Lady Wildcats Fall to Dubois
DUBOIS – The Central Mountain Lady Wildcats faced a difficult non-league matchup on Monday, falling 11-0 to District 9 powerhouse Dubois Area. The speed and attacking play of the Lady Beavers proved overwhelming, with Dubois dominating possession and creating countless chances in Central Mountain’s defensive half. The Lady Wildcats struggled to generate any momentum or offense of their own against the relentless pressure.
Despite the tough loss, Central Mountain is turning its attention to their next game on Wednesday when they will host the Shikellamy Lady Braves. Shikellamy enters the contest as the top team in the PHAC I conference and is ranked second in the state for AAA girls soccer by the PSCA. It will be another challenging test for the Lady Wildcats as they look to regroup and face one of the state’s top teams.
