LHU Women’s Soccer falls at No. 14 Kutztown
KUTZTOWN – The Lock Haven traveled to unbeaten No. 14 Kutztown for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division clash on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 14). The Bald Eagles fell to the Golden Bears, 2-0.
The Bald Eagles held PSAC power Kutztown scoreless in the first half, but the Golden Bears scored twice in the second half to secure the victory.
In net, Megan Miller made four saves for Lock Haven. The Haven defense was strong, standing up against 12 (six) shots and 10 corner kicks from Kutztown.
On the attack, Eva Stoessel recorded the lone shot on goal for The Haven.
The Bald Eagles move to 1-1-2 on the season and Kutztown improves to 4-0.
