Lock Haven Athletics continues partnership with Susquehanna Trailways; Branded bus unveiled

LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven Department of Athletics has announced its continued partnership with Susquehanna Trailways bus company, and with the continued the partnership, Lock Haven is excited to announce and celebrate the creation of the first Bald Eagle branded bus in Lock Haven athletics history.

The bus, which is owned, and will still be operated by Susquehanna Trailways will be used by all teams and other organizations at the University when possible. The design features the Lock Haven Bald Eagles, our bald eagle emblem and official logo, social media handles and crisp crimson and white colors.

“This has been a special project that I have been working on since I arrived at The Haven,” said Dr. Tom Gioglio, Lock Haven Director of Athletics. “It finally came to fruition while our new transportation contract was being revised and more importantly because of the unwavering collaborative spirit, commitment, dedication and innovative approach by the leadership team at Susquehanna Trailways.”

Susquehanna Trailways has been providing exceptional service to Lock Haven and the athletics department since the late 1970’s.

“It is important to know that this pivotal moment for Lock Haven athletics would not have been possible without the outstanding value and support from third-generation owner, Cam Kephart and his team at Susquehanna Trailways,” said Gioglio. “I would also like to thank Sean Flanagan, owner of Always a Good Sign, and his team for their many hours of hard work in creating the design and the three days of work to wrap the bus. Sean’s attention to detail is sincerely appreciated.”

Flanagan, a 1997 Lock Haven graduate and former Bald Eagle men’s soccer standout, owns Always a Good Sign, a full service sign company based in Berlin, New Jersey.

“Having the bus display Lock Haven Bald Eagles is a significant milestone that will positively impact the entire Lock Haven campus due the unlimited advertising that Lock Haven will receive when traveling through the Commonwealth and beyond, or when countless Susquehanna customers are being transported,” added Gioglio.
