LHU Wrestling Announces Three Early Signees
LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven University wrestling team has announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.
Tristan Sponseller, Kyle Bova and Joe Ghione are three high school standouts that will be part of first-year head coachScott Moore’s first-ever recruiting class.
Entering their senior seasons, the trio has a combined record of 352-40 (.898).
“We are excited about the addition of these three student-athletes. They all have the passion and excitement that we are looking for as we build for the future,” said Moore. “It is important that we attract the type of student-athletes that want to be successful in every aspect of life and that will represent our program in the highest regard.”
“We will continue to recruit the top wrestlers in order to add depth and competition at every weight. All three of these young men will have a great opportunity to help us achieve our goals as a program for years to come,” added Moore. “We welcome them into our family as we continue to build on the strong Lock Haven wrestling tradition.”
