Dally named DLH Manager

LOCK HAVEN — The Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. Board of Directors recently announced it has hired Melissa Dally as its manager.
Originally from the Poconos, she moved to Lock Haven as an undergraduate student at LHU and has been a resident of Clinton County for the last 20 years.

Melissa has served the local community for six years as the Program Director of the Lock Haven Area YMCA and most recently by working for STEP Office of Aging as a Center for Healthy Aging Coordinator, providing services and recreational activities to seniors in both Clinton and Lycoming County.

Her professional career has provided her with skills in event planning, volunteer coordination and programming.

As a community member, she and her family are a familiar face to some of the owners and employees of the downtown businesses.

“On behalf of the board of directors, we’re all very excited to introduce Melissa as the next captain of the DLH organization. We’re thrilled that she will be bringing her experience, passion, and creativity to our community and our downtown,” Ben Green, DLH president. “We hope the community will embrace her as we did, which is very easy to do, as her spirit, energy, and enthusiasm really is evident from the outset. Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. is happy to start this next chapter for our organization and our mission of making Downtown Lock Haven and our entire community a thriving district for both our members, merchants, residents, and tourists.”

Melissa is excited to start her new position by getting to know some of the merchants better and working in collaboration to continue on a path that allows our Downtown to thrive and prosper.

Melissa lives in Woolrich with her husband, Brad Dally, Director of the Student Recreation Center, their two children, Ansley and Asher, and their dog, Bodhi.
