MILL HALL-After a tumultuous week of weather-related disruptions, the Central Mountain Varsity Tennis team returned to action with a vengeance in a doubleheader clash against Milton Area. The Wildcats exhibited dominance, sweeping both matches 5-0 against the visiting Black Panthers.

Leading the charge was Asher Talbot, who delivered commanding performances in the number one singles spot for the Wildcats. Talbot secured consecutive wins with scores of 6-1, 6-1 in the first match and 6-1, 6-0 in the second. Joey McCluskey held his ground in the singles number two spot, while Tim Brinker and Joe Caimi demonstrated their skills in the third singles spot across the two matches.

In doubles, the Wildcats continued their stellar performance with Joe Caimi and Wesley Cowart sweeping aside the Milton duo of Chris Hernandez & Preston Reedy in match 1. Additionally, Tim Brinker & Wesley Cowart showcased their synchrony with a solid win in match two against the formidable opponents.

The doubles pairings of Ben Brinker & Mitchell Borges in match one and Ben Brinker & Brayden Spedding in match two clinched victories with the Wildcat sweep.

With this impressive display of skill and determination, the Wildcats are poised for their next challenge as they prepare to face Williamsport at home on Monday.
