Central Mountain Bocce Team Shines in Heartland West Tournament

JERSEY SHORE – The Central Mountain Bocce team wrapped up their season with an impressive performance at the Heartland West Tournament hosted at Jersey Shore High School on Monday placing second.

With a bye in the first round, the Wildcats entered the fray in Game D, facing off against a formidable Mifflinburg squad. Central Mountain showcased their skill and determination, securing a solid 9-4 victory, propelling them into the championship game.

In the finals, the Wildcats found themselves up against a strong Shikellamy team, who had previously defeated Jersey Shore 8-3 to secure their spot in the championship bout. Despite putting up a valiant fight, Central Mountain ultimately fell short as the Braves claimed victory with a scoreline of 11-2, clinching the championship.

In the consolation bracket, Jersey Shore battled their way to a third-place finish, over Mifflinburg.
