LHU’s Sechrist paces Women’s Indoor Track & Field at Fastrack Last Chance Invite
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Aubrey Sechrist (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) ran the third-fastest 1000-meter run in Lock Haven women’s indoor track and field history to highlight the Bald Eagles final regular season meet at the 2024 Fastrack Last Chance Invite on Friday (Feb. 23).
Sechrist turned in a blazing time of 3:02.71 in the 1000-meter run to finish fourth overall and second out of the collegiate runners. The time earns Sechrist the No. 3 spot in the Lock Haven women’s indoor track and field record books.
Megan Mudger (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) competed in the mile and ran a 5:42.75 to place 17th in a very competitive field.

Qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships will travel to Pittsburg State on Friday, March 8.
The Bald Eagles open the outdoor track & field season on Thursday, March 14 when they travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to compete in the three-day Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
