Obituary – Kenneth F. Bryan
Kenneth F. Bryan, 74, of Mill Hall, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Born in Lock Haven on November 8, 1949, he was the son of the late Kenneth G. and Lois I. Heckman Bryan.
Ken was a 1967 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He then obtained his degree in Heavy Equipment from Williamsport Area Community College, graduating in 1969.
On June 6, 1970 in Jersey Shore, Ken married his lifelong partner, the former Cindy Sechrist, who survives.
Throughout his working years, Ken was employed at Woolrich Woolen Mills, Hammermill Paper Company, Alcan Cable, Lunaire and at the Howard Tree Nursery.
He was a member of the Salona Lutheran Church and a loyal participant in the St. Paul’s Food Pantry. He enjoyed collecting pottery and antiques. He also loved going on his yearly trips to Gettysburg.
In addition to his wife, Cindy, Ken is survived by two children, Chad K. (Amy) Bryan of Williamsport and Lindsay M. (Alicia Nothstein) Bryan of Lock Haven; a sister, Margaret (Gert) Barbour; a sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) George; a special nephew, John George; and Ken’s neighbor and faithful friend, Mike Dickey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Graydon E. and Terry J. Bryan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 12 P.M. at the Salona Lutheran Church, 754 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751 with Rev. Dr. Karl Runser, III officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church on Friday for a time of viewing from 11 A.M. until the start of the service.
Private burial will take place at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Mill Hall.
