LHU Women’s Indoor Track & Field conclude exciting weekend at GVSU Big Meet
ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Lock Haven women’s indoor track and field team wrapped up the second and final day of competition at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet on Saturday (Feb. 10).
The Bald Eagles continued their standout weekend of record-book performances, personal bests, PSAC marks on the final day of the GVSU Big Meet at the Kelly Family Sports Center in Michigan.
Aubrey Sechrist (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) continued her breakthrough weekend with a blazing 800-meter run time of 2:18.74, which moves her to second in the PSAC and sixth all-time in program-history.
Natalie Gentzel (Yaphank, N.Y./Bellport) knocked two seconds off her personal-best 400-meter dash time of 1:00.73.
Liberty Gearinger (Berwick, Pa./Central Columbia) led the way in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.36 to place in the top-25 in a field of 80.
Megan Lysek Hagy (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) led the Bald Eagles in the mile, finishing in 5:20.19, just missing a PSAC qualifying time.
Reagan Irons (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone) led the jumpers with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump (32-11.75), 12th in the high jump open (5-1, PSAC).
Gentzel, Gearinger, Hunter Barger (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain) and Alexanne Fite (Shermansdale, Pa./West Perry) teamed up in the 4×400-meter relay to finish seventh with a time of 4:03.27.

The Bald Eagles travel to University Park, Pa. on Friday, Feb. 16 to compete in the Penn State Tune-Up for their final meet before the PSAC Championships.
