Robb Elementary School to Host “Hair Fair and Wellness Day” on Saturday, January 13: Free Haircuts, Oral Exams, Activities, and More
Robb Elementary School postponed the highly-anticipated “Hair Fair and Wellness Day” on Saturday, January 6 due to inclement weather. The event has since been rescheduled and will take place this Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Robb Elementary School in the cafeteria.
The event, organized by Sarah Grimes and Jeanie Robinson of the Common Place Church, aims to provide free haircuts, free oral exams, and care packages to promote overall wellness for Robb Elementary Students. The Common Place Church, where the idea for the event originated, will also provide activities for kids while they wait for their turn. The event is the first of its kind at the school and has gained support from various organizations and local cosmetologists, who will be providing haircuts.
Parents can sign up their student(s) for a free haircut through the link posted about the event in the Class Dojo app. The link will show the remaining time slots for parents to choose from, but don’t wait to sign your student(s) up as spots are quickly being filled.
