Obituary – Elizabeth H. Tierney
Elizabeth H. Tierney, 94 of Mill Hall, Pa passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport. Elizabeth was born in Lock Haven, Pa to the late Clifford A. and Lillian I. (Barner) Miller on November 15, 1929.
She was a 1947 graduate of Mill Hall High School. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bowling, and was a hospital volunteer as a Pink Lady, she had also been a member of the Good Sam Club. Elizabeth had worked for the former Sylvania plant in Mill Hall for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Lee Tierney, Kingman KS; Patricia Ann Foskett, Gallatin, TN; a brother, James I. (Shirley) Miller of Mill Hall, a sister, Helen Bolopue of Salona, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Lee H. Tierney who passed away May, 30 2000, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Robert Miller and a sister, Dorothy Marie Miller.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 320 Main St. Mill Hall, Pa , 17751 with Pastor Susan Champion of the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
