Obituary – Haley Jordan Hohn
Haley Jordan Hohn, 22, of Renovo, passed away Saturday October 14 at the Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo. Born June 8, 2001 in Baltimore Maryland, she was the daughter of Aimee and Jay Youells of Renovo.
Haley moved to Renovo with her family seventeen years ago, attending Renovo Elementary School and a graduate of Bucktail Area High School in 2020. Haley was employed at the Sportsman’s Hotel and loved the people that she worked with and enjoyed gossip time on her breaks with her co-worker friends.
Haley was known as a giving person with a beautiful soul for those fortunate enough to have befriended her.
A lover of nature and the outdoors, Haley’s unique “best friend” was her beloved duck, Donald.
The outpouring of support that her family received after her untimely death gives her loved ones the hope that her memory will live on for years after having spending such a short time on earth. Her large family has also tried to find comfort in knowing how much she loved being part of such a big family.
In addition to her parents, Haley is survived by two brothers, Caleb and Devon Youells. Additionally she is survived by maternal grandparents, Charlene and Bill Pittman of Baltimore and paternal grandmother Debbie Youells of Renovo. She was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Daniel Youells and an Uncle Danny Youells.
Arrangements are being made by Rob Reed Funeral Home of Houtzdale. A memorial service of Haley’s life will take place at one of the places that she loved the most, the Renovo Area Public Library at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 25.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Renovo Library, 317 7th St., Renovo, PA 17764
