Walker Cleared for Practice after Concussion

UNIVERSITY PARK–Central Mountain grad Von Walker on Monday of this week was given medical clearance to resume practice after suffering a concussion in the Purdue game Nov. 16. Walker was on the sidelines in his jersey and civilian clothes last Saturday as Penn State fell to Nebraska 23-20 in overtime.

A family member said Walker lost his position on the Nittany Lion special teams because of the injury and was hopeful he would make the traveling team for Penn State’s final game at Wisconsin this Saturday.

Penn State fell to 6-5 with the Nebraska loss and finishes its season in Madison at 3:30 p.m. against the 9-2 Badgers.
