DuBois defeats Lady Wildcats, 45-28
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Central Mountain Lady Wildcats played hard and even well at times but were ultimately not able to sustain a solid offensive effort in falling to DuBois 45-28 Wednesday night.
Dubois shot the ball very well throughout the night and CM was unable to counter. Despite their shooting woes, CM did do some very good things in the losing effort and witnessed some young players gaining confidence at the varsity level. That growth and confidence will pay big dividends as the season progresses.
In the loss to the Lady Beavers, Danica Kelly and Kiahna Jones shared high scorer honors with 9 apiece.
The Lady Cats (1-1) are back in action to finish off a busy first week of the season at home on Friday facing BEA.
