CM tennis opens season with win over Green Dragons
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – It was May-like weather as the Central Mountain boys tennis team Wednesday and coach Pete Wert’s team opened the season with a 4-1 over Lewisburg at the Gibson Tennis Complex.
The Wildcats returned all their starters from a year ago, led by defending District 6 champion David Lindsay at No. 1. They’ll face an early season test on Thursday, scheduled for a home match with District 6 rival Hollidaysburg.
