Lady Wildcats Fall 3-0 to State
STATE COLLEGE – Central Mountain had to face their District 6 nemesis on their home turf and the hosts took little time to set the tone scoring their first two goals in less than six minutes. State College prevailed on the shutout effort ending the game with a 3-0 score to finish Central Mountain’s season.
The Little Lady Lions kept up the pressure on Central Mountain by turning back nearly each and every offensive effort.
Leading 2-0 at the break, State acted quickly, scoring once more four minutes into the second period. Then it was more of the same as the Lady Wildcats kept searching for a weakness in the State College defense, finding none.
