Wildcat boys’ soccer downs P-O, 5-0
PHILIPSBURG, PA – The Central Mountain boys’ soccer traveled to Philipsburg-Osceola Saturday and came home with a 5-0 win.
Peyton Jones started the scoring early, adding a second goal later in the first half. Clayton Foster added two goals of his own. Asher Talbot finishing the scoring in the second half.
Coach Bill Hook said, “The defense played fantastic, not allowing much of a threat.” Senior Clay Confer had four saves in goal.
The Wildcats, now 3-7, will travel to Danville Monday for a 7 p.m. clash. The Mounties fell to 6-4 with the loss.
