Wildcat boys shut out ‘Shore, 3-0
JERSEY SHORE, PA – The Central Mountain boys’ soccer team went to Jersey Shore looking for a win on Tuesday and came home with a 3-0 victory over the host Bulldogs. The loss snapped a six-game skid for the Wildcats and left them at 2-6 on the year
Senior Caden Malek got the scoring started with a PK in the first minute of the game. In the second half, freshman Lincoln Breon had a fantastic shot into the lower corner to make it 2-0. Sophomore Peyton Jones added a late goal to make it 3-0.
Senior goalkeeper Clay Confer had 11 saves in the shutout.
The Wildcats visit Altoona for a 7:30 p.m. contest on Thursday and finish the week Saturday at 11 a.m. at Philipsburg-Osceola.
