Mill Hall man victim in fatal Penns Valley motorcycle accident

POTTER TOWNSHIP, PA – A Mill Hall man lost his life, the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on the Penns Valley Pike Sunday afternoon. Rockview state police identified the victim as Jeffrey E. Taylor, age 30. They said Taylor passed away en route to the hospital.

The mishap occurred at 5:27 p.m. Sunday along Route 45, near Lucas Road in Potter Township, Centre County. The police report said Taylor was operating his 2001 Yamaha cycle in a westerly direction when he came upon traffic and started passing traffic on the north, right shoulder. The cycle went out of control and struck a tree, the operator thrown from the cycle. Police said the operator was not wearing a helmet.

Police said they were assisted at the scene by the Centre Hall Fire Department and Penns Valley EMS.
