Wildcats Outpace Milton 4-1
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Wildcat boys’ soccer team came into tonight’s game hoping to turn their fortunes around against Milton after suffering a loss on the road at Mifflinburg on Tuesday. CM accomplished just that with a 4-1 effort over the Panthers.
Early on, the Panthers held Central Mountain at bay early on then Chandler Condo lofted the ball over the keeper and followed through for an unassisted goal at the 9:54 mark of the first period. Milton answered back finding the net 24:00 in the first period. The Wildcats responded quickly with Thomas Eaton scoring two minutes later with the assist by Ry Gallagher.
The Wildcats kept up the pressure for the remainder of the period with much of the action in Milton’s defensive end of the field where the Panthers faced constant attacks. Though Milton did manage their own opportunities but could not convert those efforts into scores.
Thomas Eaton scored once more assisted by Emery Watson just after intermission. Then Watson closed out the scoring by drilling a 20 yard shot into the corner of the box off the assist of Kevin Hook.
Next up for the Wildcats are road trips this Saturday to Hollidaysburg, then to Williamsport on Monday.
