Clinton County libraries move to appointment browsing

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Libraries said Wednesday they are pleased to announce the return of appointment browsing of the stacks and some in-person programming. Annie Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven will be setting up appointments by phone at 570-748-3321. Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek and Renovo Area Library in Renovo will accept walk-ins on a limited basis (one party per room). Appointments and walk-in browsing are limited to 15 minutes. Walk-in computer use is also permitted for 15 minutes.

Library-to-Go pickup service will be continued at all three libraries. Call your library to arrange pickup. Items (books, DVDs, puzzles, learning kits and more) can be pulled by title, author, genre or age group. Materials can also be reserved using the new library catalog. Some in-person programming will be returning as of May and will be conducted outside. Reservations will be required. Please check the calendar on the website for more information. Other programs will remain online at this time.

As a reminder, the libraries are fine-free. Patrons who’ve been away from the libraries due to fines are encouraged to return.
