Mobile COVID-19 Test Site to Visit Clinton County Next Week
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County Commissioner Jeff Snyder announced Thursday that AMI Expeditionary Healthcare will be in the county starting Dec. 10 to administer free COVID-19 testing.
The testing will be done at the Castanea Fire Company picnic grounds adjacent to Piper Memorial Airport. The visit will be from Thursday, Dec. 10 through Monday, Dec. 14. The unit can process up to 450 visitors a day, drive-through or walk-up, Snyder said, with results available in two to seven days.
Gov. Tom Wolf had announced the extension of the Department of Health’s contract with AMI Expeditionary Healthcare earlier this week to help contain local spread of COVID-19. The state said at the time the new sites across the state will be open to anyone who feels they need a test; even people with no symptoms who test positive to isolate to stop the spread of COVID.
Mid-nasal passage swab PCR tests will be performed. Testing is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is completely free to all patients. Patients must be ages three and older.
