COVID-19 Update: State Surge Continues; Clinton Up a Record 38
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Friday showed that as of 12:00 a.m., November 27, that there were 7,360 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 343,614. The 7,360 figure is the second biggest one-day case increase since the pandemic began earlier this year, exceeded only by the 8,425 recorded on Thursday.
The state reported an additional 21 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, the state total 10,234.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 38 (the highest one-day increase to date) to 647 Centre County, up 97 to 6,142; Lycoming up 57 to 1,982. Other area counties include Cameron, 25; Clearfield, 1,476; Potter, 199; and Union, 1,620.
There were 6,137 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 48 from Thursday.
