David Lewis Snook, Sr. – Obituary
David Lewis Snook, Sr., 62, of Loganton, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Lock Haven on May 18, 1958, the son of the late Lewis Snook. and Iolene Lamey Snook, who survives in Loganton.
On November 4, 1978 in Loganton, Dave married the former Pamela M. Gansell, who survives.
Dave was self-employed as a dairy farmer and sold dairy farming products to local farmers for many years.
He was currently serving as President of the Clinton County Farm Bureau, State Director of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, President of the Sugar Valley Water Shed Association and was in his 27th year of leading the Sugar Valley Agriculture 4-H Club.
In addition to his wife and mother, Dave is survived by four sons, David L., II and Woodrow C. (Crystal), both of Loganton, Luke D. of Altoona and Charles E. (Misty) Snook of Lock Haven; a brother, Lewis Snook, Jr of Loganton; three sisters, Bonnie Beck and Connie Overdorf, both of Loganton and Ellen (Samuel) Meyer of Texas; thirteen grandchildren: Blaze, Tanner, Talon, Mackenzie, Devin, Mariah, Taylin, AJ, Kyra, Taylor, Madison, Chase and Chuckie; and one great grandchild, Liam.
In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney and Gale Snook.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 3 P.M. at the residence of Dave’s son, Woodrow, 125 Roy’s Lane, Loganton, PA 17747.
Friends and family will be received at Woodrow’s residence on Thursday from 2 to 8 P.M. and again on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Agriculture Foundation.
