Julia M. Savrock – Obituary
Julia M. Savrock, 93, of Mill Hall passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence, Williamsport.
Born on July 3, 1927 in Mill Hall, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Laura (Warner) Temons.
Julia was a 1947 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
On April 12, 1950, she married John Savrock with whom she shared 39 years of marriage before his passing in 1990.
Julia was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She loved being a homemaker. Her family was the most important part of her life, especially cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons: Joseph (Jane) Savrock of Lock Haven, Samuel (Paula) Savrock of Diamond Head, MS and Kim (Debra) Savrock of Lock Haven; three daughters: Rosemary (Conrad) Schlesinger of Woolrich, Suzanne (Ken) Cooper of Mill Hall and Melissa Monoski of Lock Haven; a brother, Rodney Temons of Mill Hall; two sisters, Marilyn Steele of Lock Haven and Betty Stahl of Mill Hall; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Savrock; two brothers, James Temons and Ferd Wetzel; and two sisters, Teresa Hivicdko and Dorothy McCaslin.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 10 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven with Fr. Joseph Orr officiating. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow.
Memorial contributions in Julia’s name may be made to Lock Haven Catholic School through the funeral home.
