Kathryn E. Florey – Obituary
Kathryn E. Florey, 96, 125 10th St., Renovo, PA died June 29, 2020 in the Bucktail Medical Center. S. Renovo, PA. Born Jan. 15, 1924 in Williamsport, PA she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Emilie B. Bohele Klein. On April 13, 1946 she married J. Dale Florey who died August 5, 2001.
A 1941 graduate of the Williamsport High School, +Katy had been a waitress at several area restaurants. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church on 7th St. Renovo, PA and loved gardening, baking and reading.
She is survived by two daughters: Christine Campbell and Kimberly Rossell both of Renovo, PA, three grandchildren: Jeremy (Felicia) Campbell, Matthew (Janet) Campbell and Gretchen (Jason) Confair, five great-grandchildren: Cody Confair, Brayden Confair, Kyle Campbell, Emily Campbell and Katelyn Campbell and one sister: Phyliss Malley, River Edge, NJ.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Madeline Collins and Mary Louise Janes and one brother: Bernard Klein
A Memorial service honoring the life of Kathryn E. Florey is being planned and will be announced to the public.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions are suggested to the the Renovo Area Library, the First United Methodist Church or the Residents activities fund at the Bucktail Medical Center.
