Edith E. (Cassidy) Nesman – Obituary
Edith E. (Cassidy) Nesman, 91, of Drury’s Run went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo where she was a patient since Monday.
She was born October 30, 1928 in Drury’s Run a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Brown) Cassidy.
Edith was married on June 29, 1950 to Harry A. Nesman who preceded her in death on June 2, 2003.
She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Tamarack for many years. Recently she attended the Grace Baptist Church in North Bend which was closer to home.
Edith is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Dave) Gentzyel of Drury’s Run, two granddaughters Kimberly Hritzko of Lock Haven and Kristy Hritzko of Williamsport and a great granddaughter Kylah of Williamsport.
She was preceded in death by a twin sister Elizabeth Summerson of S. Renovo and two brothers Charles Cassidy of Renovo and Cpl. Boyd Cassidy who passed away in 1950 as a prisoner of war in Korea.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at North Bend Cemetery.
