Richard D. Mason – Obituary

Richard D. Mason, 73, a former resident of Renovo passed away Friday evening, June 12, 2020 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo where he resided for the past 7 years.

Born September 20, 1946 in Renovo a son of the late Donald and Luella (Cohick) Mason.

Rich was married to the former Mary Ann E. Uhl who preceded him in death February 13, 2018.

He worked at the former Maxwell Furniture Store as a technician from 1968 to 2010. Earlier he worked at Chem Con, ACI and Berwick Forge as a maintenance man.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he served from 1965 – 1967.

Rich was a 1965 graduate of Renovo High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are two sons; Richard D. (Charlene) Mason of Renovo and Douglas R. Mason of Warriors Mark, PA Five grandchildren Kiefer, Collin, Conner, Brett, Mattisyn and a great grandson Briar.

Rich is survived by a sister Rita (Robert) Cozzi of S. Renovo. He was preceded in death by a brother Floyd Mason.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
