Marie Vilello Lock Haven’s New Downtown Manager
LOCK HAVEN – Marie Vilello on Wednesday will become Downtown Lock Haven’s new manager. She will replace Samantha Eisenhart whose last day will be Tuesday.
Vilello is a lifelong Lock Haven area resident who most recently served two terms as Clinton Count Prothonotary. She is a city resident and wife of former Lock Haven Mayor Rick Vilello.
Bob Rolley, Downtown Lock Haven board president said, “The board is delighted she is coming on board, bringing her experience as a small business owner and public servant to the day to day operations of DLH.” He added, “Marie’s timing is good as DLH looks for ways to assist businesses reopening from the COVID-19 pandemic.” He said she was the unanimous choice of the DLH board at its recent meeting.
Rolley said the downtown organization expects to soon roll out a program to provide direct assistance to businesses while continuing to aggressively promote those businesses and the downtown.
Eisenhart, a 2019 Lock Haven University graduate, had held the position for the last year. She will be joining the North Central Aids Coalition at its Mill Hall area office.
