Williamsport Runs Up 7-0 Win over Lady Wildcats

HEPBURNVILLE – It was another long night on the pitch for the Lady Wildcat soccer team as they fell to Williamsport, 7-0.

The game was played fairly evenly for the first 40 minutes of the game with the Lady Millionaires holding a 2-0 lead at the break. Unfortunately the floodgates were blown open in the second period where Williamsport added five more scores for the 7-0 rout.

Jocelyn Renninger had 2 shots for CM with MacKenzi Walsh and Avery Baker adding one shot each, though Williamsport had 14 shots on goal. The Lady Millionaires also outpaced Central Mountain in corner kicks, 4-1.

Hailey Swortwood had another full shift in from of goal, recording 13 saves for the Lady ‘Cats.

Central Mountain will next travel to Mifflinburg on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019.
