Wildcats Edge Danville, 3-2

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain boys tennis picked up another conference win as they edged visiting Danville, 3-2.

Dhrew Kotru picked up Danville’s first win of the day, defeating CM’s Morgan Talbot, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and Blake Nizinski earned the final victory when he got past Wildcat, Gavyn Walker, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Ujjval Adroja stemmed the tide for the ‘Cats when he picked up a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win over Danville’s Het Patel at No. 3 singles.

In No. 1 doubles action, CM’s Brady Williams and Jackson Walker took down Danville’s Eli Henning and Joseph LaMarca, 6-1, 6-2 while the Wildcat duo Ethan Hall and Greg Andrews received a forfeit.

Central Mountain will next travel to Jersey Shore, tomorrow, April 11, 2019.
