Brinker Announces Candidacy for Lock Haven Mayor

LOCK HAVEN – Jeff Brinker has announced that he will seek the Republican nomination as a write-in candidate for the office of Lock Haven Mayor in the May 2019 Primary Election.

“I am running for mayor because I am proud of Lock Haven and love our town. I want to continue to develop what previous mayors, city council members, city managers, and you, my neighbors, have worked hard to create. I believe my passion for our community, my professional experience, my volunteer organization work, my understanding of the importance of fiscal responsibility, and my track record for getting things done have prepared me to lead City Council effectively,” Brinker said.

“As mayor I want to lead our community to succeed in the area of job growth and manufacturing, ensure that agencies meet the needs of the community, and support community events to include parks, recreation programs, and the summer concert series. I look forward to working with the other members of council to get positive things done for the residents of Lock Haven,” he stated.

Jeff noted that “One of my goals as mayor will be to bring non-profit organizations, community leaders, agencies, Keystone Central School District, Lock Haven University, plus big and small businesses together to evaluate our previous decisions by having open discussions about what we have been doing well as a community and how we can work together on areas that need improvement.”
