Mifflinburg Picks Up 4-0 Win over Central Mountain
MIFFLINBURG – It was was a long day for the Central Mountain boys’ soccer team in the PHAC road trip to face the ‘other’ Wildcats. Mifflinburg pitched a 4-0 shutout to CM for the win.
Mifflinburg put up 2 goals in each period while Central Mountain (4-7-1) couldn’t finish on the offensive side to keep pace with the hosts.
Mifflinburg had a 9-4 advantage in shots on goal while Central Mountain had a very slight 1-0 edge in corner kicks.
Nick Andrus had 5 saves in the game for CM.
Central Mountain will host Selinsgrove at Malinak Stadium on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017.
