BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Keystone Central School District Board Member Polly Donahay, representing Region 3: Beech Creek Borough, Beech Creek Township, Curtin Township, and Liberty Township, announced her resignation during Thursday night’s voting meeting.
“I have decided recently with family issues that I do not have the time I once had to put into being a member of the board,” she read from a statement.
“I will be resigning my position as Region 3 board member. It is not right for me to vote for this (Act 93) as I will not be a part of the board for the next few years to come. This has nothing to do with the administration, they do a great job. I hope the board agrees to come to a fair contract in relation to Act 93. I wish everyone the best with it.”
Donahay’s term was to expire in 2027.
