Burglary/Criminal Trespass/Theft by Unlawful Taking/Endangering Welfare of Children

 

On July 25, 2025, at approximately 4:52 p.m., the Renovo Police Department responded to a reported burglary in progress at 205 Cedar Street in Renovo Borough. Officers found three adults and four children, ranging in age from 2 to 9, inside the house. The investigation revealed that unlawful entry had been made by entering through a second-floor window.

 

Christopher Hotchkiss, 39, and Sasha Hotchkiss, 31, both currently residing in Renovo, were charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft by Unlawful Taking, four counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children, and four counts of Corruption of Minors.

 

Following their preliminary arraignments, Sasha Hotchkiss was released on $15,000 unsecured bail, and Christopher Hotchkiss was released on $20,000 unsecured bail. This incident marks Christopher Hotchkiss’s third pending criminal case this year alone.

 

Additionally, Alicia Graham, 19, of Lock Haven, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Theft by Unlawful Taking. She was released on $8,000 unsecured bail.

Motor Vehicle Crash

 

On August 2, 2025, at approximately 10:24 p.m., the Renovo Police Department investigated a vehicle crash involving an ATV/UTV on Boone Road in the area of Stoney Run Road in Chapman Township. The 2025 Polaris UTV was operated by 23-year-old Blake Pavlas of Akron, OH, and contained a passenger, 31-year-old Mariah McDivitt of Dover, OH. As Pavlas was driving the UTV on Boone Road, he entered a curve in the road at a high rate of speed and lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll over. Neither occupant was injured, and both were provided assistance and transportation off the mountain by the Renovo Police Department.

  • Lock Haven City Police Department News

 

Vegetative Growth 

 

On June 9, 2025, during patrol, Lock Haven City Police observed a violation of the Lock Haven City Grass/Weeds ordinance at 325 East Church Street. A certified letter was mailed to the property owner giving notice of the violation because the grass and weeds were exceeding eight inches. On July 15, July 28, and July 30, 2025, the property was observed with no change in the vegetative growth. The property owner was cited on all three dates, with summary citations being filed with Magisterial District Judge Kibler’s office.

Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle

 

On July 14, 2025, at approximately 6:42 a.m., Lock Haven City Police investigated an accident involving a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Second Avenue and Linden Street. Victoria Boyle was driving south on Second Avenue when the bicyclist entered the intersection from the west. The bicyclist failed to stop at the stop sign before proceeding into the intersection, resulting in an unavoidable collision with Boyle’s vehicle. The bicyclist reportedly sustained multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment, and Boyle did not report any injuries.

Hit and Run 

 

On July 28, 2025, at 12:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Clinton County Courthouse [and] Piper Building for the report of a hit and run. According to City Police, the victim reported that the vehicle had been damaged while it was either at Geisinger on Spring Street or at CVS on Bellefonte Avenue.

Hit and Run 

 

On August 1, 2025, at 3:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Save-A-Lot parking lot at 120 E. Walnut Street for a reported hit and run. The victim stated that they arrived at the store at approximately 3:30 p.m. and returned to their vehicle 15 minutes later, when they discovered damage just above the rear driver’s side tire. According to police, no other vehicles were parked in the area of the victim’s vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Accident 

 

On August 4, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., LHPD officers were on the scene of an incident at the Weis Market parking lot, 313 W. Bald Eagle Street in Lock Haven, when one of the officers observed a separate incident occur: a Ford F-150 struck a legally parked Audi RS4, and when officers approached the truck, the driver appeared to be experiencing a medical episode. No other injuries were reported, and information was exchanged between the drivers and vehicle owners.

Furnishing Drug-Free Urine

 

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 4:43 p.m., LHPD officers were dispatched to the Clinton County Probation Office for a report of fake urine being used during a drug screening. Officers were given a device that had been used to provide the fake urine sample, which Shaun Wadsworth attempted to use. Wadsworth admitted to possessing the device in an attempt to obscure a positive drug test result, and was charged with Title 18, § 7509(b) – Furnishing Drug-Free Urine.

Disorderly Conduct/Recklessly Endangering Another Person 

 

On June 16, 2025, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lock Haven Gardens near 740 E. Bald Eagle Street, building 14, for the report of injuries sustained in an assault. Through investigation, it was discovered that a physical altercation between Damion King and a 17-year-old juvenile had occurred. During that altercation, Mikayla Polk joined in the altercation while holding an infant, police say. King and the 17-year-old juvenile were both issued summary citations for Disorderly Conduct. Polk was charged with Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Disorderly Conduct.

Retail Theft

 

On July 8, 2025, officers were contacted by the Weis Markets Loss Prevention team regarding two separate retail theft incidents. Nicole Neff was apprehended at the Mill Hall Weis Markets for reportedly failing to scan items at the self-checkout register. Further investigation revealed that Neff failed to scan and pay for a container of Silk brand half and half valued at $5.19 on June 17, 2025, and on July 2, 2025, she failed to scan and pay for a can of Campbell’s pork and beans valued at $1.49.

Dog Barking

 

On July 31, 2025, at approximately 7:49 p.m., LHPD officers responded to 640 E. Bald Eagle Street for a report of dogs barking. Upon arrival, the officers could hear a dog barking from inside apartment 17. While they observed for several minutes, the dog continued to bark. The caller had advised the officers that the dog had been barking nonstop for most of the day and that this had occurred in the past. LHPD researched previously reported incidents and found that officers had previously responded to the same apartment for the same complaint on four separate occasions. As a result, the dog’s owner, Jaylyn Stevens, was issued a summary citation for Lock Haven City Ordinance 182-8: Animal Nuisances.
