Drowning
NOYES TOWNSHIP—On July 2, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the PA State Police from the Lamar barracks responded to a report of a known missing 81-year-old man in the Susquehanna River near the 1800 block of SR-120 (Renovo Road). Upon the troopers’ arrival, a tractor was observed in the middle of the river with no occupant. According to the report issued by PSP, the man had been trying to cross the river to access farmland on the opposite side. A multi-agency search was conducted, and the man was found deceased approximately 2.5 miles downriver.
Dog Law/Non-Animal Cruelty
RENOVO BOROUGH—On July 1, 2025, at 6:58 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to 6th Street for a report of two separate dog bite victims. Following an investigation, troopers identified the dog and its owner, a 32-year-old woman from Renovo. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.
Motor Vehicle Crash
PORTER TOWNSHIP—On June 30, 2025, a crash occurred on SR-64 at its intersection with Corporation Lane. Bonnie Bechdel, 65, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on SR-64 and had stopped to make a left turn onto Corporation Lane. Another vehicle, driven by an unidentified individual and also heading north, failed to notice Bechdel had stopped and struck the rear of her vehicle. Both vehicles were moved off the roadway and into a nearby driveway. The striking vehicle sustained disabling front-end damage and was towed from the scene, while Bechdel’s vehicle had minor rear damage and was driven away. Bechdel reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On June 29, 2025, at 2:50 p.m., PSP troopers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on SR-120 (Renovo Road). At the scene, troopers spoke with the victim, who reported that Nicholas Gower, 29, of Mill Hall, had shoulder-checked her during an argument. Charges for Harassment were filed against Gower through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Drug Possession
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP— On June 28, 2025, at approximately 4:26 a.m., Jeremy David Nallie, 26, of Cambridge, MD, was arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession on Woodland Drive.
Motor Vehicle Crash
PORTER TOWNSHIP—On June 28, 2025, a crash occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 175.2. Elias Gonzalez, 35, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was traveling west in the left lane when his vehicle left the south side of the roadway. Gonzalez overcorrected, causing the vehicle to spin 180 degrees, strike a traffic sign, and become disabled off the road. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Tressler’s Towing.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP—On June 26, 2025, at approximately 3:09 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred on Nittany Valley Drive near its intersection with Mackeyville Road. Shawn Easter, 46, of Altoona, was traveling south behind Dorothy Fogle, 74, of Mill Hall, who was stopped in the right lane waiting to turn left. Easter did not see that Fogle was stopped and struck the rear of her vehicle. A passenger in Fogle’s vehicle was transported to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for suspected minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Martin Motors.

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On June 26, 2025, at 12:45 p.m., a crash occurred on US-220 South at mile marker 113. Zachary Kimble, 32, of Pleasant Gap, was traveling in the left lane when he fell asleep and left the east side of the roadway. Kimble struck the concrete bridge rail that runs parallel to US-220, causing his vehicle to spin east, strike a large pothole, and become disabled in the left lane. Kimble sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.

GREENE TOWNSHIP—On June 25, 2025, at 4:16 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 West at mile marker 193.3. Emma Downey, 29, of Danville, was traveling in the left lane when she encountered heavy rainfall and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle left the south side of the roadway, striking a roadside embankment and a tree. Downey’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end, and she reported minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Criminal Mischief
MILL HALL BOROUGH—On June 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a burglary alarm on E. Arch Street. An investigation revealed that two juveniles, ages 12 and 13, had thrown a rock into a window, causing it to shatter. Both juveniles were identified and charged with intentional damage to property belonging to another person under PA Crimes Code Title 18 § 3304(a)5 Criminal Mischief.

GREENE TOWNSHIP—On June 24, 2025, at 9:28 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 189.9. Abhishek Kumar, 25, of South Ozone Park, N.Y., was traveling in the right lane when he attempted to pull over due to mechanical issues. Kumar reported he was traveling about 30 mph when the engine of his 2019 Volvo shut off, leaving him unable to steer. The vehicle struck an embankment on the north side of the highway, causing disabling damage to the front passenger side. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP—On June 23, 2025, PSP Lamar was contacted about a disturbance at 1034 6th Avenue. An investigation found that Gwen Ardner, 41, of Avis, slapped and kicked her 42-year-old brother. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-01.
Hit and Run
RENOVO BOROUGH—On June 22, 2025, at 12:05 p.m., a hit-and-run crash occurred on Huron Avenue at its intersection with 3rd Street. The driver of Unit 1, a 2005 Dodge Neon, lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left turn, causing the vehicle to leave its lane of travel and strike a guide rail on the south side of the road. The vehicle ricocheted off the guide rail and continued east on the sidewalk before coming to a final stop when it struck a fire hydrant. The crash caused disabling damage to the front of the vehicle, and the driver was not present at the scene. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On June 20, 2025, at 1:19 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to James Lane for a domestic disturbance in progress. According to witness statements, Edeleceo Castillo-Ramos, 33, of Mill Hall, struck a female victim, causing a bruise on her left arm. Castillo-Ramos was taken into custody, transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, and cited for Harassment.
Motor Vehicle Crash
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP—On June 20, 2025, a crash occurred on Eagle Valley Road (SR-150). Stacy Henry, 50, of Lock Haven, was traveling west when he crossed the center dividing line, left the roadway, and struck a telephone pole on the left side. Henry then continued on the shoulder and struck a mailbox before the vehicle crossed both lanes and came to a final stop facing north off the right shoulder. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the driver’s side, and Henry suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Strangulation
RENOVO BOROUGH—On June 18, 2025, PSP Lamar received a report of a domestic assault that occurred at 839 Ontario Avenue. An investigation determined that Francis Sefchik, 35, of Renovo, strangled his girlfriend by placing his elbow on her throat, using enough force to cause her to black out. Charges were filed against Sefchik through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.
Theft from Motor Vehicle
AVIS BOROUGH—On June 7, 2025, at 1:20 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to an attempted theft from an unlocked vehicle on E. Highland Street. The victim noticed someone inside his silver Chevrolet Silverado, which was parked outside his residence, and confronted the suspect before they were able to take anything. The actor(s) fled the scene before police arrived. This investigation is ongoing as possible suspects are being investigated. Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP—On June 3, 2025, at 1:23 p.m., PSP Lamar received a report of retail theft at Lowe’s, located at 284 Hogan Blvd. in Mill Hall. James Duffield, 26, of Rebersburg, allegedly stole merchandise valued at $776.20. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Accidental Death
MILL HALL BOROUGH— On May 22, 2025, at 7:57 a.m., PSP Lamar investigated the “unattended death” of a 58-year-old Mill Hall man that occurred on Dewey Street.
Rape/Forcible/Opposite Sex
SOUTH RENOVO BOROUGH— On May 15, 2025, 7:53 p.m., an incident involving rape was reported to PSP Lamar. The incident reportedly took place in the area of Clinton Avenue and 2nd Street in South Renovo. No additional information was provided in the police report.
Corruption of Minors
ALLISON TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar investigated a report of child abuse that occurred on SR-120 (Renovo Road) sometime between February 1 and March 31, 2025. No additional information was provided in the police report.
