Man found dead in Susquehanna River in Noyes Township
NOYES TOWNSHIP—On July 2, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the PA State Police from the Lamar barracks responded to a report of a known missing 81-year-old man in the Susquehanna River near the 1800 block of SR-120 (Renovo Road).
Upon the troopers’ arrival, a tractor was observed in the middle of the river with no occupant. According to the report issued by PSP, the man had been trying to cross the river to access farmland on the opposite side. A multi-agency search was conducted, and the man was found deceased approximately 2.5 miles downriver.
