Lock Haven Police Department News Release – June 3, 2025:

Incidents: 

Hit and Run – On April 24, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., a vehicle parked on E. Church Street was struck by another driver, who left the scene without providing information. The driver of the striking vehicle was located and issued a citation. 

Crash – On April 25, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a vehicle struck a pole in the CVS parking lot located at 311 Bellefonte Avenue. 

Crash –On May 22, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of E. Church Street and N. Grove Street. Unit 1 was traveling southbound on N. Grove Street when it struck Unit 2, which was heading eastbound on E. Church Street. Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.

Offenses Charged: 

Kyle Wagner, 27, of Lock Haven, was arrested for DUI. On April 28, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Wagner struck an occupied building in the 10 block of Mount Vernon Street. Police report that during the investigation, Wagner was found to be under the influence of controlled substances. 

An 11-year-old female and a 13-year-old female were arrested for Disorderly Conduct. On May 10, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., the two juveniles got into a fight with each other in the 300 block of N. Fairview Street. 

Matthew Dennison, 34, of Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault. On May 20, 2025, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Dennison was at an apartment in the 200 block of N. Grove Street when he allegedly pulled a female victim by her clothing into another room, which restricted the victim’s ability to breathe during the altercation.

John Weaver, 45, of Lock Haven, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. On May 26, 2025, between 12:10 p.m. and 8:10 p.m., Weaver engaged in a course of violent, aggressive, and threatening behavior against multiple individuals, according to police.
