KCSD Board Approves Tax Increase
By Christopher Miller
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Keystone Central School Board voted in favor Thursday night of a partial tax increase for the 2025-26 school year.
The increase, amounting to 1.78% Millage, will increase the median assessed home value by about $26 per year. This increase is projected to net $490,159 in additional funding for the school district in the coming year.
Board members Tom Cannon, Elisabeth Lynch, Chris Scaff, and Dr. Bill Baldino were opposed to the measure.
The school board will vote on May 8 to adopt the proposed final budget.
