CM Boys Soccer Falls to Lewisburg in Tough Road Match
LEWISBURG-The Central Mountain boys soccer team traveled to Lewisburg for a rainy PHAC showdown against the state’s #7 ranked team on Wednesday night. Despite a strong effort, the Wildcats were unable to find the back of the net and fell 4-0.
Coach Hook said, “The backline played phenomenal throughout the evening. Lots of communication, tracking attacking players, and making the tackles. Of the 4 goals, only one was scored in the run of play. The other three goals came from a penalty kick, and two corners. Focusing on defensive corners will definitely be needed moving forward.”
With a current record of 5-6-1, Central Mountain sits 4th in the district standings. The Wildcats are back in action Saturday morning when they head to Selinsgrove for their next match.
