LHU Women’s Soccer drops PSAC East match
LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven women’s soccer team (1-2-2, 1-2 PSAC East) fell to visiting Bloomsburg (3-2, 1-2 PSAC East), 4-0, today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.
The loss marked Lock Haven’s first at home this season (1-1-1).
Evelyn Ciaccia and Leana Cuzzocrea did all they could to spark the Lock Haven attack, and Makayla Grace Weber turned in a notable effort.
Bloomsburg, ranked No. 8 in the Atlantic Region, took the 1-0 lead with just seven seconds left in the first half and Brooke Foster scored twice early in the second half to help carry the visitors to the win. Bloomsburg tallied a fourth goal in the 78th minute to cap the game’s scoring.
For Lock Haven, the start of the 2024 season ushered in a new era under the direction of first-year head coach Jesse Urquhart. The Bald Eagles got off to a sensational start, starting the campaign on a three-game unbeaten run (1-0-2).

The Bald Eagles will return to action next week on Wednesday, September 25 at East Stroudsburg. The PSAC East match is set for a 4:30 p.m. start.
