Central Mountain Falls to Two-Time Defending Champs Central Columbia, Looks Ahead to Jersey Shore
MILL HALL-The Central Mountain Girls Soccer Team faced a daunting challenge Monday evening, hosting the Central Columbia Blue Jays, the two-time defending state champions, at Malinak Stadium. The Blue Jays, showcasing their prowess, stormed to an 11-0 lead by halftime and sealed an 18-0 victory by the final whistle.
Central Columbia improved to 7-1 on the season with the win, while the Wildcats, a young and developing team, fell to 0-6. Despite the result, the Wildcats remain focused on gaining experience and growth as they continue through the season.
Next up, the Wildcats will travel to Jersey Shore on Wednesday for a 4:30 p.m. start, where they will face the Lady Bulldogs, aiming to build on their development and put forth a strong performance.
