Central Mountain Wins 2024 UPMC Champions Cup

Each year the schools within UPMC Williamsport participate in a competition to see which school earns the most “points” based on district championships, state qualifiers, etc.  This year, Central Mountain High School won the Champions Cup which was presented at the SAPA ceremony held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

“CMHS had an outstanding year with many programs earning championships, as well as individual students who received district, regional, and state championships.  We feel proud to see our students and programs perform at such a high level.  We feel extremely fortunate to have outstanding athletic trainers who support our student athletes before, during and after competitions and practices”, said Athletic Director Dave Peters.

“Our partnership with UPMC has allowed us to have Lindsey Dry and Elizabeth Evarts as our Athletic Trainers.  They work many hours behind the scenes to help athletes recover and rehab.  Without their support, our programs and athletes could not perform at the highest levels”, he continued.
