Obituary – Glenn A. Brookens, Jr.

Glenn A. Brookens, Jr., 82, of S. Renovo passed away at home on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Born July 3, 1941 in Renovo he was a son of the late Glen A. Brookens, Sr. and Elizabeth (Barner) Brookens.

Glenn was married in August of 1960 to the former Wanda M. Welch. She died in 2003.

He was a well-known master mechanic for most of his life at K & L Auto Sales & Service.

Glenn was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles both of Renovo and the Western Clinton County Sportsmen’s Association. He was a 1959 graduate of Renovo High School.

His hobbies included wildlife; his cat Annie. Glenn loved a hearty laugh and a good practical joke.

Surviving are his two sons; David A. Brookens of W. Renovo and Joseph G. Brookens of Farwell.

Glenn was preceded in death by a brother Robert Brookens and a sister Elizabeth Herritt.

A celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
