Obituary – Florence S. “Dolly” Reeder
Florence S. “Dolly” Reeder, 94, of Mill Hall passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home.
Born November 9, 1929 in Mill Hall, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Jarrett Mosser.
On June 25, 1949, she married his love, Theodore E. Reeder, Jr., with whom she shared 74 years of marriage before his passing on September 15, 2023.
Dolly worked at Sylvania and then JR Foodette. For many years she served as a bus driver, first driving for her brother, Bruce Mosser, and later Pete Schrack.
She attended Salona United Church of Christ.
Dolly was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Barbara Reeder of Mill Hall; grandson, Nicholas (Zaneta) Reeder of Mill Hall; sister-in-law, Viola Mosser of Mill Hall; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Shirely Feudale of Elysburg, whom was always there for her aunt.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Reeder in 2008 as well as her siblings: Anna Gummo, Bruce Mosser, Sr., Raymond Mosser, Jr., Gladys Mosser and John Mosser.
A private service will be held for her family. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
